About Us

The story behind the name (not what many think!) and a little bit about the owners & jewelry designer. We're a small woman-owned, family business, descended from Irish and Scottish immigrants in New England.

 

The Celtic Rebel was incorporated in 2005, when we began carrying a line of Christian and Native American style artwork, as well as prayer cards and Advent Calendars. We have recently expanded to include a line of imported crosses, crucifixes, rosaries, gift items, and Celtic and Christian music.

 

Jon, our jewelry designer, began making beaded jewelry in the last couple of years as a hobby, but we quickly found out that he has a gift for designing unique and exquisite one of a kind necklaces and earrings. Swarovski, Czech crystal, hematite, turquoise, and many semi precious beads are used in his designs, and they are elegant.

 

We accommodate special orders and can personalize limited products for weddings, anniversaries, and other occasions. Please contact us for details.

Payment Methods: Check/money order and credit cards/echecks via PayPal for US customers and credit cards/echecks via PayPal for international customers in the countries listed above. Please note that we only accept PayPal from international customers, and only accept international orders from listed countries.
Shipping: All Celtic Rebel products are shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified.
Restrictions: Please note that we follow all applicable laws concerning types of merchandise that can be sent to other countries.
Unfulfilled/Canceled Orders: If, after you send a payment something occurs so that the order cannot be fulfilled, we will refund your payment upon receipt. We do ask customers to refrain from sending payment prior to verifying that the item is in stock.
Refunds: Merchandise can be returned for a refund with receipt for up to 30 days. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Auction Policy: We periodically offer products on online auctions. The same payment/refund/shipping policies apply to our auction items as our other items-no exceptions! If you wish to buy an item listed on an auction, you must bid on it or use Ebay's Buy It Now feature. We will not accept offers to buy the items outright even if a larger amount of money is offered, as this is a violation of Ebay's policies. Violaters of this policy will be reported to Ebay.

What We Believe

What beliefs a business' owners accept are important to many customers, so we've answered it here.We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, (Matthew 5:45) maker of heaven and earth, (Gen. 1:1, Gen 14:19, Rom. 1:20) of all that is, seen and unseen. (Col. 1:6) We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, (Luke 1:35) eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, of one being with the Father. (Heb. 1:3) Through Him all things were made. (John 1:2-3) For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; (John 3:13) by the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary, (Matt. 1:18, Luk. 2:7) and was made man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, (John 19:16) He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures. (Matt. 28:1-10, John 20:11-18, I Cor. 15:3-4) He ascended into heaven (Luke 24:51) and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Col. 1:3) He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead (Matt. 16:27, Acts 10:39, 1 Cor. 5:15, 2 Tim. 4:1) and His kingdom will have no end. (Luke 1:33) We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, (John 14:15-20, Acts 2:17) who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]*. (John 14:16) With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets (I Peter 1:10-11) We believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church**. (Matt. 16:18-19, Rom. 12:5, Eph. 5:26-27, Col. 1:24) We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38) We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. ( I John 5:20, Rom. 6:5, I Cor. 15:51-54, 1 Thess. 4:13-18)

*The "and the Son" clause is omitted by Eastern Orthodox Christians

**"Catholic" in this sense means the one, universal Church consisting of baptized members of all Christian denominations/communions. Apostolic refers to following the apostles' teachings. Neither of these terms refer to specific denominations.
